DOT/IMO HAZARDOUS MATERIALS PLACARDS

Inhalation Hazard Class 2 Placard
Class 2 - Gases

Hazard Class 2, Division 2.3 , Inhalation Hazard White and Black Placard - Toxic gases in division 2.3, such as chlorine, require a white placard with a "skull and crossbones" icon on top and the number 2 on the bottom. In the US, these materials are called Inhalation Hazards and the placard is slightly modified to contain a black background behind the "skull and crossbones." This modified placard is required for toxic gases transported into or within the United States.
