Introduction to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

Dates & Locations for one-day program
Agenda
Registration Information

The regulations and their enforcement continue to grow stronger - and the penalties become more severe.

Do you know if your company exports commodities, technical data or software that are controlled under ITAR? Many companies do and do not realize that these exports are governed by controls. Is your company required to be registered with The U.S. Department of State? These and many more questions will be answered. Our one day seminar provides the participant with an in-depth knowledge of  the regulations and a company’s responsibilities for ITAR exports.

Industries involved in firearms, military explosives, aircraft, aircraft parts, protective clothing, etc., are usually aware of the regulations.  However many companies who manufacture or distribute specifically designed or modified parts and components for military end use are not.  The program will discuss commodity jurisdiction, registration, licensing, shipping, record keeping and reporting requirements.  It will provide detailed information using exercises on determining who falls under ITAR, license applications, use of D-Trade, information required for AES filing and how to register with the U.S. Department of State.  The multimedia and interactive presentation will provide attendees with the skills and information necessary to become fully ITAR compliant.

Gain an in-depth understanding of ITAR and learn how to avoid the consequences of noncompliance!
