Training Workshop

This 2-day workshop satisfies mandatory compliance training requirements including the new general security awareness component.  Training is required under the DOT Hazardous Materials Regulations at least once every 3 years.

Benefits of Attending

The DOT imposes fines up to $32,500 per day for civil violations in dangerous goods shipping.  Fines for single shipment have reached the $75,000 point and higher.  CFR Title 49 demands documented training for hazmat employees.  Train today and avoid civil and/or criminal liability and fines.

TRAINING IS A MUST…and a critical element to the future of your business.  More than forty percent of DOT enforcement actions pertaining to violations of the dangerous goods transportation regulations involve failure of hazmat employers to provide training.

This 2-Day workshop satisfies mandatory compliance training requirements – including the new general security awareness component.  Even if there was no training deadline; personnel safety, prevention of property damage and penalty avoidance are more than enough justification for periodic training.

You Should Attend If You:

If you are a new DG employee who needs to be trained within the 90 days of your start date, or if you are due for re-certification training and:
  • Classify Dangerous Goods
  • Package Dangerous Goods

  • Offer or Accept Dangerous Goods for Transport
  • Handle Dangerous Goods – (e.g. load, unload, secure, etc.)
  • Operate a Transport Vehicle
