About the Instructor

 Carl R. Meyer is a retired International Banker with over 45 years of International Banking experience.  He has been affiliated with several major international banks including Citibank, Bankers Trust Co. (now Deutsche Bank), Marine Midland Bank (now HSBC Bank), and Chemical Bank (now J.P. Morgan Chase), as well as other prestigious banks.  His expertise is in Trade Advisory Services, where he has assisted clients of the bank in resolving problems that they have encountered in International Trade.

He has conducted seminars on the subject for over 30 years at various organizations, both public workshops and private onsite presentations.  He is a former member of the Letter of Credit Committee of IFSA (International Financial Services Association) the successor to the Committee on International Banking.
