Purpose and Use:
The Export File Folder is perfect for keeping track of documentation and other information crucial to a successful export shipment. The heavy, letter-size manila folder features a pop-up tab for filing and allows you quick and easy access to important information about the variety of details that must be attended to before your goods are ready to leave port.
The front of the folder is printed with the relevant data elements which are used for filing the required export information via the Automated Export System (AES). This provides a convenient summary of all data that needs to be collected and then conveyed to the U.S. Government for the export of merchandise. On the back is a printed representation of a collection letter, permitting an easy check-off and summary of documents and information needed to undertake a documentary collection or letter of credit as a form of payment. Inside the folder, you will find a communication log, brokerage charges fields, and shipment history area providing a compact paper and communication trail that everyone involved in the shipment can follow.
