Export / Import Compliance Manager

Unz & Co. is seeking an Export / Import Compliance Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Unz and Company public and on-site seminars in all disciplines relating to import and export transactions. In addition to teaching, the person will conduct audits and compliance reviews for our customers.

Our minimum requirements are ten years of hands-on experience in import and export compliance, documentation and procedures. The candidate must have a working knowledge of US Customs Regulations, Schedule B, HTS, EAR, NAFTA, FTA, ITAR, L/C and Incoterms.

We prefer a client-oriented individual with teaching and consulting experience in international trade. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.

International Trade Consultants and Instructors

Unz & Co. is seeking experienced International Trade Consultants and Instructors on a permanent/part-time or per diem basis.

The consultants and instructors will be a part of our dynamic team of professionals who provide consulting and instruction in both public and in-house settings. Public seminars run from one to four consecutive days, throughout the year. In-house consulting and training can be from one to five consecutive days.

Individual must have : BA (minimum), 10 years of experience in international trade. Comprehensive knowledge of Export/Import Documentation & Procedures, Documentary Credits & Financing International Trade, NAFTA and Export Controls. Compensation is per diem plus travel expenses.

Hazmat Transportation Consultants and Instructors

Unz & Co. is seeking experienced Hazmat Transportation Consultants and Instructors on a permanent, part-time or per diem basis.

The consultants and instructors will be a part of a dynamic team of professionals who provide consulting and instruction in both public and in-house settings. Public seminars run two consecutive days and are scheduled throughout the year. In-house consulting and training can be from one to five consecutive days.

 Individual must have: BA/BS (minimum), some chemical background, 10 years of experience in Hazmat Transportation (DOT, IATA & IMDG). Consultants must be able to efficiently conduct company compliance reviews, provide Hazmat Classifications Services, analyze MSDS sheets and offer practical solutions to customers' compliance procedures, documentation, etc. Compensation is per diem plus travel expenses.
