Mandatory AES Table Updates
Required by US Government
Critial Update!
Version 2.00.07 for Version 2.xx
NOTE: The
information below pertains only to versons 2.xx. Customers using
the newer Version 3.0 software do not need this update. The
ability to synchronize the AES tables is already built into all Version
3.0 software.
The
US govenment recently made significant changes to the Harmonized
Tariff codes and Schedule B codes required to process import and
export transactions. Using the new codes became Mandatory in
Mid-March 2007. Using old codes may result in your transactions
being rejected when sent to AES. Many of the tables in UnzExport
send information to the government's AES (Automated Export
System).
UnzExport
software has been modified to link to the list of correct
codes and update the AES code tables in your UnzExport software.
Generally you will need to do this when the government announces a
change to its acceptable codes. You may choose to update
your AES tables as often as you think necessary.
Your
other existing data tables will not be altered. Your current settings
for Suppliers, Consignees, Customers etc will all remain intact.
Unz
& Company is offering this update to your existing Verrsion 2.xx software as a
free web download for customers with current maintenance agreements.
Please note that this update will only work with existing, fully licensed copies of UnzExport Software.
